Therapist and Service Development Worker – Adult Services

30 hours per week (37.5 FTE). Flexible days, at least one early evening and 1.5 hour team meeting twice a month on a Wednesday. 

£31,388 pro rata (£25,110 actual) per annum. 1-year fixed term (with intention to renew year on year) 

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Adults Service Counselling team as a Therapist and Service Development Worker, offering an estimated 10 therapy sessions per week and supporting the delivery and development of the Adult counselling service.   

The successful candidate will be reflective and empathetic with experience and knowledge of the issues faced by those who have experienced sexual abuse. They will also be organised and have the skills needed to support the smooth running of the service.  We are looking for an experienced counsellor or psychotherapist with an interest in supporting and developing quality services, to join our growing team at this exciting time.  

For now, this role will be a mixture of home-working and office-based, at our therapy centre in St Agnes Lodge, St Pauls or at one of our outreach centres.

Service Administrator – Adults Counselling Service

22.5 hours per week (37.5 FTE) over 3 or 4 days, including Monday and Tuesday afternoon/evenings  

£19,500 per annum (pro rata)

About the role:

The role of Service Administrator is key to the delivery of our high-quality, trauma informed services. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients referring into the service, as well coordinating booking counselling appointments and assessments for clients on our waiting lists. You will also provide administrative support to our counsellors and assist with admin cover from time to time.  The Service Administrator sits in a small supportive team. 

The successful candidate will be a diligent administrator with good attention to detail and knowledge of databases. You will also be empathetic with some experience, knowledge or interest in mental health or counselling. The varied nature of this position means we are looking for a candidate who is flexible, organized and confident in carrying out a detail orientated role.

Children and Young People’s Client Voice Coordinator 

15 hours per week (37.5 FTE). Days are flexible and can be agreed on appointment

£26,000 per annum (pro rata)

About the role:

This role is part of a new project of work for The Green House which aims to bring survivors to the very heart of all we do. Our ‘Survivor Voice’ project aims to work closely with people who have used our services to inform service developments and new projects. We recognise that people with lived experience of abuse have particular insight and expertise that can help The Green House develop to best meet the needs of survivors.

This role will engage young people who have finished therapy in regular peer groups and activities, as well as coordinate all feedback mechanisms for the Children and Young People’s service. For example, feedback forms, surveys or other ways we may receive feedback. In time, this role will also support young people with their own projects and activities.

As this is a new role, there will also be some development work within the role, supported by the Clinical Lead and other members of The Green House.

The successful candidate will be a creative and organised person, passionate about working with Children and Young People and with a good understanding of the impact of sexual abuse. You will have some experience working in the mental health or youth services sectors with young people. You will be a good problem solver with the ability to take ideas and make them into a reality. You will also be an excellent communicator, with the ability to work with and alongside people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
