Bluestar: Policy Report

Bluestar: Policy Report
Bluestar: Policy Report

The Bluestar Project at the Green House is a research project led by the University of Bristol in partnership with the Sexual Violence Consortium in Bristol. The project aims to develop understanding of how we can improve access and best practice in two key areas: pre-trial therapies and online support for childhood sexual abuse. Our research is a collaboration project led by the voices of practitioners, clinicians, and survivors.

This report summarises the key findings from the research,
which aimed to understand the barriers and facilitators to
accessing pre-trial therapy services for children and young
people who have experienced childhood sexual abuse (CSA).
We use these findings to make best practice and policy
recommendations for the future delivery and commissioning
pre-trial therapy services across the United Kingdom (UK).
