How we help
Therapy for children and young people
We offer a range of different therapies to support children and young people (up to the age of 18) who have been sexually abused or assaulted.
We see people for sessions in St Paul’s, Knowle West and online (for people 14+). We also offer creative outdoor therapy groups at a green space in South Glos.
What is therapy? Therapy is a weekly confidential space with a therapist who will listen, take you seriously and support you with whatever is on your mind.
Why use creativity in therapy and not just talk? Because of the way traumatic memories are stored in our brains and nervous system, they can be very difficult and sometimes impossible to put into words. That is why creative arts and play form a valuable part of our approach.

A note about ‘Pre-Trial’ Therapy
You can still have support and therapy about your experiences of sexual abuse, even if there is a Police investigation going on. This is known as ‘pre-trial therapy’. The Green House has done a lot of work in this area. For more information about that, click here: Bluestar link and here.
