Hope is a 3rd year student on the MA Art Psychotherapy course at The University of South Wales; she is joining The Greenhouse for 12 months as a trainee art psychotherapist. She is a student member of BAAT (British Association of Art Therapists) and is working towards accreditation with the HCPC.

Hope has worked for many years in a specialist sexual abuse service within the NHS and continues this work alongside her training. She also has experience within education, working with primary age children with additional needs.

Hope encourages her clients to find their unique creative voice in the therapy room. In her own art practise, she enjoys making poetry and is interested in how we can use poetry in art therapy, something she is likely to explore in her dissertation which she will be working on throughout this 3rd year of her studies. Outside of work and training Hope enjoys yoga, cooking and cuddling her cat! She tries to go outdoors and plunge into cold water as much as she possibly can, this helps her to feel connected to herself, and to the world around her.
