Marie’s Poems

Marie’s Poems

We are delighted to share some amazing poetry written by Marie, a member of our VOICE community at The Green House. Marie wanted to share her poems because she loves writing and sharing them.

Sui Who

In shadows deep where sorrow hides, A fragile heart feels torn inside.

But even in the darkest night,

There flickers still a gentle light.

Hold on through the strong sea, for dawn will come, and you will see-

A world that waits with open arms

To heal your wounds and share its charms.

SH Who

In the quiet garden in my mind,

A storm brews, fierce and unkind,

But I plant a seed, soft and small.

When the shadow whispers, sharp and cold, I wrap my heart in threads of gold. Each breath a petal, gentle, slow, a tender touch to help me grow.

Though pain may knock and try to stay, I choose to let the sunlight play, with dawn, a chance to start to heal the wounds within my heart.

Flash

In shadows deep, where silence hides the pain, A heart that breaks beneath a heavy rain. The past, a storm that crashes in the night. With flashbacks sharp, like shards of broken light.

The body bears the marks of battles fought, in secret scars, the healing seems so fraught. Yet through the darkness, faintly, hope can gleam, A tender shoot within troubled dream.

Though the hard path and heavy is the cost, each step towards dawn reclaims what was lost. With gentle care, the soul begins to mend and finds the strength to rise and bloom again.

Marie xoxo
